Good evening everyone I just found this link and thought it might be useful if you got permision for the owner of the site to use his close pictures.
http://tripoint.org/kevtris/mappers/index.html
The owner of the site is talking about the lockout chip for the NES and gives a lot of information about the different ways a few companies tried to thwart Nintendoes efforts with blocking 3rd party carts. he gives tons of pictures of the circuits.
Here is another page from his website that could hold some interesting information I just haven't read through it yet.Just for the record I am not the owner or in any way affiliated to this site.I found it had some pretty neat info.
Oh yeah i guess while I'm writing I might as well introduce myself I was watching G4 tech TV and saw Ben Heck talking about his creations. So right after the show I logged on the old internet and placed an order for his book. I am very interested in creating portable gaming machines and look forward to starting in on this cool hobby.
Also pertaining to this thread I can take take as many pictures needed of any parts needed within the next month or so of a Gameboy original, gameboy colour, N64, Maybe PS2 slim (not sure if I want to open 'er up or not, Sega Master System, SNES if I can find it and NES if i can find it.
I can promise the pictures will be very high quality and very high magnification not sure of the MP but i believe its arount 6.1 or 7.1 not sure

going back to kade for a second, he's been temporarily banned. Partly for his posting, and partly for his response to the warning I sent him:

They didn't turn out as well as I would have liked, but I read the how-to after I took the pictures.
