Is it worth trading my DS and a game for a gamegear and 17 games aswell as a gameshark and $80AU?

gamegears are worth 5-15$ us and games are usually to be had for a few $ each depending on the game 80$ is pretty good i would say yes, but its up to you

Dude, getting rid of your DS right now would be stupidity. The flood of good games has begun. Castlevania, Trauma Center, Nanostray, Lost in Blue, Advance Wars, Nintendogs......Right now is the absolute BEST time to have a DS.

gamegear really didn't have a lot of good games. Though that godzilla tactical strategy game was something. A used DS is $129 US, and you're only getting $60US in cash so you're 'paying' way too much for the gamegear.

misc info: I own 23 NIB copies of sonic 2 for gamegear... Please don't ask...

There was a Zelda demo released, you can find it on ebay for a few hundred dollars I bet.
