Classic Rock
The Rolling Stones
3 Doors Down
Bruce Springsteen
The Moody Blues (only one song, "Nights in White Satin". On the real album, "Days of Future Passed", not that radio-shortened BS)
Dave Mathews Band
Chicago
Jimi Hendrix
Led Zeppelin

"easy listening" (by the radio station's definition)

The Carpenters (yes, I admit it :P)
James Taylor
Santana

Comedy
Jeff Foxworthy
Bill Engvall
Monty Python
"Weird Al" Yankovic (not so much anymore)
Bob Rivers

Other
Stuff I listen to that I got from friends or on CD singles or something but I don't have many songs from those bands/artists.
The Safety Dance, Men Without Hats
dragostea din tei, OZONE you may know it as the music behind the Numa Numa dance
Vertigo, U2
Jump, Van Halen
Mr. Roboto, Styx
etc...

Stuff I don't listen to
I can't stand this crap
Rap
hard rock
heavy metal
death metal
polka
(most) classical
(80% of) country

Yes that's the kind of music I listen to, not just a list of the music I have. :P (I've got quite a bit more than this.)

Lets see with easly over 10 gb music after a reformating Ill name a few

Wyclef Jean

Undisputedly the best & most innovated artist since well I think ever until someone proves me wrong.

Talking Heads

Wow, again innovative had many hit singles and hit well albums these guys are all grads of rhode island design and technowlegy school.(I forget the real name of it) Which is like the equivilent of Harvard law. Yeah imagine the parents joy "ya we went through school cost you an arm and a leg but were going to be musictions." I for one am glad they did.

Tower of Power

Fantastic Funk Band. Mostly white which makes it funnyer.

REM

Good to mellow out too.

Tragically Hip

Basically Canadian counterpart to REM

Tenatious D

In there own way a great band funny when you need a pickup

Super Tramp

I dont care what anyone says I like supertramp you dont like them too bad.

Sir Mix a Lot

Thank you sir mix a lot, he alone is responcible to getting a party started, seriously you cant help but party when jump on it come on.

Simon and Garfunkel

These guys are great you cant help but love these guys.

Run DMC

Umm, Its tricky you know you love em, these are the guys who follow inbetween Sir mix a lot and Beastie boys during a playlist.

Beastie boys

Again guys these guys are classic I must admit they should not have attempted a comeback but we will always have there classics right?

The Rolling Stones

These guys have had so many #1 hits its not even funny, these guys are just behind the beatles. If you say you dont like them your lying.

The Beatles

By far the most popular band, record number of #1 hits. Are you kidding me you see how much drama goes through this band? You know each person in the band obviously, you know that lennon got shot, you know paul mccartney preforms everywhere. Super bowl half time show? That was pretty good.

Queen

I defy you to name one person who doesnt laugh everytime they watch waynes world and the bohemian rhapsody scene comes on, and you are singing the words and you know garth isnt. We are the champions? Dont stop me know? Under pressure common you know all of those songs.

The Police

Yeah Sting sucks by himself The police MADE him no questions asked.

Pink Floyd

Im not going to start if you know them you know why everyone loves them, same thing goes with Led Zepplin and Rolling stones and The beatles.

Our lady peace

One of the first albums I ever loved "Clumsy" I dont like there new stuff but I always play clumsy.

Otis Redding

Wow this guy is amazing buy his album(s) now. No questions asked one of the best rock songs of all time. (Sittin on the dock of the bay)

Godfathers
James brown, bb king jimi hendrix, Grand funk railroad, Fugees (Old band wyclef was in aswell as lauren hill and someone else, name slips my mind). Bob Marley, Aretha Franklin, Billy holiday, Elvis, A tribe called quest.

Very honorable mentions

The offspring, Nirvana, Niel Young, Lynerd Skynerd, Kool and the Gang, John Mayer, Jack Johnson, The Killers, Jethro Tull, Green day, Foo Fighters, Eagles, Audioslave, The doors, Cream, Coldplay, Billy tallent, Billy Idol, Aerosmith, AC-DC.

Wow long list lol Ill write up more later.
I'm the man, if you don't think so, you're wrong.

Jimi Hendrix (best musician ever), Audioslave, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Eric Clapton by himself, Metallica, Franz Ferdinand again, the Killers, Bob Dylan again, Peter, Paul, and Mary (and occasionally Bob, too), Blur, Gorillaz, Nirvana here-and-there, the Eagles, the Beastie Boys, Beck, and a couple others I've undoubtably forgotten. I like music.
hmmm...

"I'm awesome!"

Ya know, compared to new guitar legends like Yngwie Malmsteen, Eric Johnson, etc., Jimi kinda sucks... He was very sloppy, but he did influence a lot of guitarists, so I guess he's okay.
Stranger wrote:Audioslave
Don't even get me started on Audioslave or Rage Against the Machine. All Tim (bass player) does is the same notes in different patterns that all sound the same, which gets very boring after about 2 songs. Chris Cornell's voice makes me wanna puke, and all of there albums are ultimately very boring.
