I'm making a total guess that the screen is divided into five areas vertically--total guess. That the refresh is slower but each segment only has to refresh 1/5 of the screen.
but I know at least one person obviously knows the answer to that question. why didn't he put that on his webpage... it wouldn't have taken so long to do. I'll shoot him an email from my work acct tomorrow (people don't ignore that one so much)
