ACN-5507 Contrast/Brightness

This is the Acn-5507 monitor.
I am using it as an all purpose screen at the moment,
and its works like magic,
but i am really having problems
when it comes to reading white words on a light background.
Is there a way that i can adjust the brightness and/or contrast to fix this?
I would prefer if it didnt destroy the existing tv functionality,
and didnt alter the external case;
however, i would adjust the settings from time to time,
so i cant KEEP it inside the case.
Is there some sort of Contrast/Brightness adjuster i could use or something?

Any suggestions?

Put a resister on the lighting to dim it?

or you can do the LED mod with three LED's.

will this fix the contrast issue? its VERY hard to see white text on a semi light background.

Yea, the whole LED mod will darken the screen not significantly but will darken it a bit.

Oh no, I wasted my 1000'th post to help. Well 1001 is better anyway.
