Video Game Console Picture Database

Post by Lucretius »

The administrative staff at BenHeck are begining a project based from maj.com called the VGConsole Picture Database. We're collecting High-Quality pics of every console available, from every angle, inside and out.

While Gannon conjures a possible setup on PoD, the hosting of pics will occur at, temporarily, www.maj.com .

http://www.maj.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?m=VGConsoles

Go ahead and start taking some. We're looking for HIGH-QUALITY images. Inside and out and every angle you can think of. E-mail them to me when you're done and I'll get to posting them. Please incldue the Console name in full. Don't guess that I'll know what it is, I probably won't.

When taking pics, use a white background, no flash (use lamps 'n stuff), and don't be contented with blurred. I won't let them be uploaded. We need clear photos. For photo tips, check this page out

Thanks for your help guys. We're hoping to record and categorize every console (and their mobo). Get some controller shots too! Have fun!

Unfortunately, no. We need pics were you can read the very print on the board. Don't forget to get outer pics too. I really appreaciate the effort, though. :)

I'm a little tempted to use yours as an example of what we're not going for...for clarity...

i just got an idea. right now i'm using my $5 camera because it's the one i have a driver for. i have another digital camera that's much better than the one i'm using now but i don't have a driver for it. if you could help me find a driver for a Umax Astracam that works with win2k i could use it and get good pics
