Famiclone light gun to nes

I was reading a topic where someone asked if it was able to use a Nes Control to a Famiclone then I thought of a famiclone light gun I have and I wanted to know if it is possible to use the Famiclone light gun on the Nes

as long as you connect the right pin outs.

Alright I split the light gun wire and theres only 4 wires, (Blue, Yellow, Red, and Brown) all I need to know now is what to connect it to on the NES wire does anyone have any ideas?

Are you using a famiclone? If so then you can just connect it to the corresponding spots on the board. I know there is red, yellow, brown, and blue on the famiclone board. These points are diffrent for each model famiclone, but if you have the Power Player Super Mega Joy 3 you can use G-force's pinout.

Oh, I see. I seem to have misunderstood you before, but now I'm on board. What I think you need to do is get an NES controller, and cut off the end (with a little bit of wire so you can work with it). Then connect the wires from the gun to the wires in the plug. It should be red to PIN 2, blue to PIN 6, brown to PIN1, and yellow to PIN4. This should work, but I could be wrong.

Im still confused, right now this is what i have

FC:
Yellow
Red
Brown
Blue

NES:
Yellow
White
Brown
Orange
Red

I need to know which wires connect to each other ex Fc Blue to NES Red

They all line up except for blue, which you can shove into the right hole on the plug.

I'm betting that if the other colors match, that BLue hooks up to white. I want to say that is the main voltage line, but I'm not sure...

ok I soldered all the wires to eachother and it doesent work, does anyone have an idea what I might of did wrong?

If you could get a good high resolution picture of the light gun's board(with wires attached), it would be easier to determine what wire was what.
