it won't see the psp when I put it in usb connection, and the cable is plugged in

Do you have it so you are in the home os screen and go over to the left side and under settings and click on the usb connect one?
You don't have to worry about the world ending tomorrow, it's already tomorrow in Australia

um, unpluging and pluging it back in does nothing kade... i don't even think you've had this problem, when I plug it in every singe time it doesn't work

Try a different usb port. Maybe yours is like 1.1 or something..

no it's 2.0 I know my motherboard specs
edit, it comes up with this when I plug it into a diffrent usb port

If you're on Windows 95/98, you have to manually install the drivers, because they don't have automatic driver downloads like Windows XP.

If the PSP came with a driver disc, just manually install it anyways.

in your PSP box, there is probably a small booklet. This is called an "instruction manual" Now, this is where it gets hard. Look inside this "instruction manual" and find out.

spongey, the manual is useless absolutely useless...it has no troubleshooting help...the usb instruction are somthing along the lines of 'plug the siny branded usb cable in to the top of your sony psp console now use you sony software to son sony sony sony
