floppys dont have enough pins. You can cut the sids off and use glue to bond two of them together. I did that and it works flawlessley. Ghettotastic, but it works. And you might need to shave the connectors to be thinner.

What do you mean foxx? They do have enough pins.
NES has 72 pins on the cartridge, but only 60 of those are actually used. That's why we can use famiclones (NOAC's) for US carts.
Floppy cable connectors have 17 pins on each side, so 34 pins each, so two of those would make for a 64 pin connector. More than enough pins.
The pins not being used are in the middle. So all you have to do is cut out the side of the floppy connector so the cart edge can fit on, and bingo. Just glue the connectors to something to hold them together and you have a cheapo NES connector!
That was sheer genius on bens part to think of that. I can't wait to try it out on another NESp.

umm... didnt i say that?
The floppy connectors i had i just chopped the ends off em, and glued them together. The i shaved them to be slightly thinner cause some of my games got a bit too tight. The correct way of building this thing were to get an actual 72 pin connector, but i cant find one that has the correct pin spacing. Eh, whatever works. I paid $0 for my portable NES, so im not gonna complain.floppys dont have enough pins. You can cut the sids off and use glue to bond two of them together.
