"PSP TV Adapter kit (No modification)"

heh, I knew that someone would try something like this...the problem is, what if there are scratches on the screen :?.....oh, and there's another similar product, but involves a slight mod to the psp (most likely just hooking up the LCD ribbon cable to the thing :P)

so....anyone (with a psp) gonna think about buying one of these PSP to TV things?

Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

Wow, that looks, um fake. The other one, that one is much better. I think it connects to the USB port.

So its a camera that rests comfortably on the PSP. Odd to call it an actual video thing. I guess it is sending the video to the Tv but thats not really sending the video, its sending a video of the video.

"Some sort of pyramid grows from the base, with a precision lens and mirror system at the top, capturing the image and light, in a similar way a scanner or camera would. It then converts it into a video signal that is sent through video leads going from the adapter to your TV set."

no

:P...just do a bit of googling next time ;)....

anyway, the PSP2TV thing looks cool (and it's NOT USB ;)) but while I love modding stuff....I've already had my PSP bricked (don't know how) so I'm not gonna risk voiding that warranty ;)

I think there is some site like psphacker.com or something with info on the a/v-out/ps2 controller thing.

If you do void the warantee, just use the old Walmart switch to get a new one. Worked after my friend's GBA SP broke and the warantee was expired (and voided by me).

Ah yes good ol Wal-Mart... I remember my friend THREW his xbox controller on the gound as hard as he could all the time. Needless to say he eventually broke it, returned it, and here's the funny part, it came with a free 2 month Xbox Live CD subscription, so he got ANOTHER 2 months for free just breaking the controller!

Anyways that thing is weird as hell :P Looks fun though. I wonder if it could work for other systems as well...

All we had to do was go in and buy a new SP, then go to the electronics department the next day, and say that it didn't work right. I don't know if all Wal-Marts are the same, but at ours, you go to the electronics department and they sign your receipt to say that you can return it, then you go to customer service, and they just check the bill and make the return. The trick is to show the new one to electronics, then switch the warantee tags, and return the broken one with the new unit's tag on it. They check the tag(usually through a hole in the box), and give you the money. I've found that this works best if the customer service person is an older woman, who generally doesn't know what the unit should look like. Also, go when the store is more busy, because that gives you reason for the time between visiting electronics, and going to customer service, when you change the tags. If you change the tag before going to electronics, you have to show them the broken one(because it has the serial number that's on the receipt), so they'll notice any scratches.

remember when that game pic pals for the ds came out that freaking stupid game was so pointless, so i returned it for an unopend one then walked across the parking lot to the other wall mart and traded it for cash... every thing is so eazy when there is a walmart and a macdonalds in every corner of any city. (walmart being the white trash embasy)
