I just remembered about this thing a few days ago. What was it supposed to do anyways?

It was supposed to replace your home entertainment system (minus the tv). It was going to have a huge list of features (tivo-like capabilities, cd/dvd burning, the list goes on), but also a huge price tag. It was released in Japan I believe, but something like that wouldn't get very far here. It never ended up on our shores.
