About $250 so far, and I used a screen from All Electronics (not sure if it's no there anymore). I didn't fry any n64s, this is the only one I've ever bought. IMO, if you have some decent electronics knowledge you won't fry one.

i thought about doing that for an n64, and about a million other ideas lol, i need to get me an n64 and a freaking screen! then my uber n64 will FINALLY be done, i have a ton of work to do on my current case to make it good tho, just you wait!

For mine, I plan to well, add a hip gear between the cart and expansion slot.

WOW that is a great looking N64p
I think we've all had that idea at some point (to use an n64 case), but you've gone ahead and finished one (and a great one at that).
Looks like you made the screen fit in there pretty well, and the button placement is great. Also I love the way the cartridge slots in the power socket!
I look forward to seeing more of your portables
