Its...Its...The Gameboy Shuffle!

Post by Jeff »

Last time I made a crappy gaming mockup with apple involved a lot of it somewhat came true.

I stole the design from the Gamecube (Dpad and buttons, which are actually start buttons), the Revolution Controller, The iPod (the click wheel), and some crappy $50 mp3 player, and the NES (start/select). Enjoy =D

*sigh* boredom gets the best of me.

Actually I had the exact idea yesterday when I saw some Nano replacement cases on the net. I was thinking of putting an atari or namco joystick plug and play, a hipgear, and putting tact switches under the scroll wheel (d-pad yay). The fire button would be at the top corner (most likely on the left so I would use my right for the d-pad). The start, select would be on the bottom (micro style), but I figured that was way too much work. Also, the battery pack would triple the thickness of the unit! Unless I ran a cable to the battery so I could be concealed in my pocket... Wierd how we both thought of it.

I'd buy it, if it would play videos, and was cheap enough.
