Personally I don't see the point of this.

It's not like you go jogging to watch videos. I mean, why gives someone an urge to watch a music video when they're on a bus?

Unless they're gonna do sheduled "portable TV" downloads - I see that LOST stuff there.

Who knows, maybe this is the future. Maybe TV as we know it is gonna go bye-bye.

Now excuse me while I go for a bike ride and watch Law & Order at the SAME TIME!

i know! they made the color standard in JUNE! then three months later "oh, its video" also, they could have given the color and photo people a firmware update! THE PROCESSOR IS USED IN A PERSONAL MEDIA PLAYER! THE HARDWARE IS THERE APPLE!!!

the gp2x can play wmv and you can just pop anything on there and it hardware scaling it to the right size. and it can outputto TV!

theyre the same width, just a slightly smaller clickwheel and a wider screen gives the illusion of being wider.

yes and no, they have the computing processor, but no video processor. sure the same chip is in a lot of other devices, but the video ones have a special video processor chip as well.

Oh boy. I'm definitely not buying one of these for at least a year. Just imagine how many bugs and problems there will be... 1G == suckage

1. Its the same price, more is good.
2. Who says your gonna be jogging with a player with a HARD DRIVE? Wouldn't it skip?

I dont believe jogging affects harddrives, I've heard of the vibration of motocycles causing damage.

exactly. by then they will have it better and smaller and it might even play games by then.

it does play games... the crappy built in one. Apple should let it be open source and let anyone make games, or at least release some themselfs
