Using the original Nes power switch
I was thinking of hooking up the original nes power and reset button to my portable as the switch to turn it on. In order to use it, do I have to do any hacking to the the switch itself? If so does anyone have a pinout oh how to connect it to the nes board? And also how would I connect the unregulated power to Nes wire to the switch? Sorry for all the questions but I would like to attempt to use this switch if possible. Thanks
Well in Bens book I desoldered the power switch...so should I just solder it back on? And if so, then where would I connect the unregulated power in spot to
I just looked at that french guys nesp and he has some pictures here, but he doesn't explain how he did it

Thanks madcow

So let me get this straight (starting from left to right) the first wire connects to the video out on the nes,the second wire connects to the audio out, the third and fourth wire are soldered together, while the fifth wire goes to the five volts spot on the nes board. I know I asked this a billion times but what about the wire that goes to the unregulated power to nes spot on the 7805 regulator lead go into? Thanks again for the pinout though

Sure send over some pics...I think if I can't get the switch to work I may buy one of these from radioshack http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?c ... id=275-401
I think its the same one Ben used. But nonetheless I would like to see those pics
