Dont sell it its not worth it for what they give you, you don't need to get it right when it comes out. Remember with the psp at launch it had a lot of problems and now a few months later its a lot more refined. I'm not saying that will happen with the 360 but the price of it and a game is outrageous wait at least until christmas time to get it.

I work at a gamestop and I know you won't get $90 for all of that. Also across the board there are no more Xbox 360s. Unless you have it already reserved you won't get it before christmas and I doubt until February. Also it won't be worth more closer to it nor will it be that expensive to buy it back when the 360s go down in price especially because if you have the harddrive you can play any Xbox game on it. So if you sell it get store credit and save it, now is the best time to.

And don't go for cash its about 20% less value.

No microsoft cut us all off. They have said they will produce no more and I bet they will wait till february(or some othe month) so they can have a steady amount of games for the next shipment of systems.

So shut up.

i would only sell it if you get a good price but keep the games that work for the 360.

I see where you're coming from but demonofaj has a point. First generation systems seem to always develop problems. I know PS2 had faulty laser, xbox had read errors, PSP had messed up LCD's and sticky square button. (Geez, you would think that they had all heard of testing before selling, but of course not...) I don't see why MS would start making them right the first time and break this little trend.

I'd keep it and buy an XB360 when the second gen comes out, or there are no problems to be found in the first gen.

Sell it to some idiot...you'll get more that way. Also, as evilness stated, gamestop won't give you much, especially ebgames. The system goes for $109(US) I think? Figure that is going to be around 30-40 dollars max you will get from those two places.

As for the games...50-60 max for all of them unless you trade them in while they have those specials where if you trade in 3 games you get an extra 10% added onto your final costs.

If that is what you wanna do, do it NOW before the 360 comes out. Once it's out, kiss that system goodbye!

as a collector, I have always had serious doubts about the xbox's durability. Specifically I wonder about the hard disk and how long it will take to develop bad sectors and begin to screw up. In my opinion, the xbox was designed to play games for 5 years or so, and then promptly die. After half a decade with a PC, you can pretty much also count on the IDE controller going out, and the power supply. DVDrom will probably start skipping too. No, the xbox is going to turn into a glitchy junk heap, rather than a cool retro console.

Aside from that, It won't be collectable because it's just another common system that everybody has rotting in their closet. If it weren't for the emulators, it would collect as much dust as my PS2.
