Not a bad idea but, the moderators are already taken care of in my opinion theres too many. Help might not be a bad idea but it can be on f42 for the most part. Games pretty much is f42 already so most of this is taken care of.

If you want help with BBcode, go to another forum. I believe the web designers of this forum have all stated their hate for that language.

1) We all ready have a plenty of mods and we are all set up. No need for it at all.

2) There are plenty of other forums for this, we don't specialize in that here.

3) that's what Forum 42 is for. And gamewinners.com has the cheat thing covered already.

I'd like a C64 Forum but it would be stupid to make one cause there are not that many people interested in the C64 but it would be nice to ad the C64 to the atari forum

A C64 subsection would be a good idea in the Atari, but that's just my oppinion.

As of now the Atari is the unoffical C64 forum. Neither Spongebuell nor myself will lock or move the thread out. We already have a few threads in there. If you want I'll contact Gannon/Ben and see if they can add C64 into the name, make it a more general forum I guess.

This site already has BBCode help, which is built into every distribution of phpBB. The link is on the posting page, but seeing as people can never seem to find it, here.

Have you ever tried making a template for phpBB? It's easier than some things, but it takes a hell of a lot of work. There are 64 standard images, plus any used by add-ons. There is also all the CSS properties to be changed.

I think we should have a place for begginers Like a tutorial on how to start, how to solder, what certain things are (capacitators, resistors) where to get them, how to connect them bla blaaa blablabla blaaaaa blaaaaaaaaa

1. We don't need any more moderators. Too many cooks spoil the broth.

2. Why bother with BBcode? HTML > BBcode! I mean let's see BBcode do <s>this! ZING!</s>

3. This isn't a general gaming forum, we focus more on the hardware aspect rather than the gameplay. If you want cheats, go to Gamewinners. (We've actually locked "I want cheats for..." topics in the past.)

If anything I think we need a specialized "Rules" forum, with seperate announcements for the general rules, parole list, and mod rules. (They would be there for reference) If someone wanted to discuss, they could make a seperate thread. This would encourage people to read the rules, and make F42 less cluttered, leaving mroe room for general threads and rhubarb recipies.
