I'm astonished at this open and frank discussion (in a good way

) but remember the Family Guy episode where Brian and Stewie travel Europe. At Germany on the tour book, there was nothing between 1942-1946. Then the tour guy did a 'nasty' thing, before ignoring Brian's comments of WWII. Another 'odd' occurence.

Germany also has strict rules on violence in videogames in general, ie, Grand Theft Auto and the like.

I guess they're trying to put the past behind them and stuff. WW2 was a pretty awful affair for them.

Although I coulda swore I've heard of people in Germany playing Medal of Honor... maybe Castle Wolfenstien is bad because it's kind of over-the-top and sensationalized (you know, Tesla-coil enabled Nazi super-robots and all that)

MOH and COD are more historical I suppose.

Pretty much, but you don't see delete if you live in Germany on that. Maybe it's the stereotype/'horrors' that Wolfenstein created.

Hi though i don't play any modern video games I know you can get GTA san andreas and vice city (or whatever it's called) you can get medal of honor and this desert storm stuff and I thing I also played return to castle of wolfenstein before[long time ago]
