what kind of paint do you use
is there a cart slot on it

The paint is use is Testors. Its the kind that you would normally use on scale models. I used the primer, and the flat white. I bought a semi-gloss (its a colorless one) to give it some durability, and a nice finish. Gloss tends to make your hands feel gummy.
EDIT: Just noticed this:

Atkafighter should be a senior member.

Hi,
This is a pic of the front after I filled in those gaps.

And here is a pic of the back.

Darn the super glue on the bottom just popped. Oh well, anyway you can see that the back made a lot of space for the boards and wires. I plan on making a label that goes on the back with my signature, a serial number, and date (my friend's idea).

What could that be from I wonder

What is that weird plastic piece on the back underneath the Hip gear screen case? Just a random piece of plastic?

Yeah, sharp eye G-force.
That random piece of plastic is attached to the hinge on the front (or whats left of it), and it velcros to the back so I can easily inspect the unit. Well now its not attached to the hinge because the super glue bonds popped, but the velcro is still there. I plan on finalizing the back with some styrene after my friend has it for a while (want to make sure its sturdy, It sucks to break back into your portable after the case is finished).
