what kind of bondo do you use
the kind that comes in a stick or the kind that comes in a big bucket and is used on cars

Sure I'll post some pics of the back soon (my roommate left for the weekend so now I don't have camera access. Rats.). The bondo I use is from the aluminum tube. I guess I should buy it in larger ammounts but so far I haven't needed very much of it (until I build a whole case that is).

I too would like to know what kind of bondo you use. There should be a product number on the tube somewhere, if you can give me that I can look it up on www.bondo-online.com
I've used the marine epoxy putty before and it's kind of a pain to use, so I would like to try something else that might be easier.

G-force i am using the stick epoxy right now on my case and im actually pretty happy with it did you try the devcon marine epoxy stick

No haven't tried that, is it another bondo company? The putty sticks work well for small holes and the like, but for big stuff it's not very good.

I did some google searching and what everyone seemd to reccomend is this stuff. It's a 2 part catalyst (a lot like epoxy), and it seems to work well from what I read. Is this what you used atka?

Yes G-force found the one I'm going to use. The one in the can is the one I plan on using for the case I'm going to make. The bondo I use right now is just the spot putty. Its somewhat difficult to use if your cuts aren't right (if you cut too large the gap cannot be filled with bondo very easily.). Did I mention that I do all of my cases with an xacto knife and some needlenose pliers? My nibblers broke when I was building Jeffslot's SNESP (*sniffs* poor nibblers) I think I was cutting his heatsink down and it snapped the cutters in half. So now its up to my xacto and pilers. Whenever I get paid for this job I'm debating if I should get a dremel or some more consoles to hack. I plan on doing a pretty good write up on my complete bondoform process.
The only number I see on the tube of bondo I have is 907. It was most likely on the card It came packaged on, but I threw that away.

i have that syuff it was ok its just to hard to work with
the devcon stick putty im use gets very hard and has filled some big gaps
maybe i'll give this bondo another shot

ok, you officially rule man, that think is SO cool! 2 thumbs up! bondo is a plastic body filler for car bodies, it is a 2 part thing and comes in a tube or large bucket, it dries very hard but can crack if used poorly, i used bondo for my snes molds, and i will use it on my snes p when i finish it
