My friend was telling me about invisible instant messenger. Is there such thing? I couldn't find anything about it on google

That's the secret....you actually DID find it. You just didn't notice it and it's advance invisibility features.

he might be refering to the fact that aim stays on your system tray i.e. its invisible to you. Either that or hes bsing you.

Do you mean that he said you could turn invisible to other users on AIM? If not, disregard my post, but to do that you click the little eye on your buddy list.

My friend that there was a kind of AIM that you could put on your computer, and it would be invisible (as in there is no trace of it on your computer). Then when you typed in a code or something, it would open up, and you could use it normally. It would be used by kids whose parents dont let them use AIM.

So with AIM express, its just through the internet, righ? Would you have to sign up for AIM on like a library computer or something, so that theres nothing on your computer, or do you have to sign up at all?
Meebo seems like the same thing, only it offers more IMing things.
Does anyone know if it would be difficult to set up an AIM account at a library? Would they block it or something like that?

you could sign up for aim, but it might be harder to download aim, so just register a Screen Name and use meebo or aim express (i like meebo cause it works in firefox)

Just make a screen name and you can use aim express anywhere you want. Very simple and it offers the basic things that regular aim has. Only thing that would stop you from using it is if the library has it blocked.

Sounds great. two things though:
1 AIM express doesnt work on firefox?
2 would i still have buddy lists and what not with AIM Express?
