I am so sick of Jessica Alba it hurts

I can't be alone on this. All year that tart has been thrust in our faces, just like Lindsay Lohan and Beyonce Knowles the years before.

She's had like 60 zillion movies come out this year. Worse than Jude Law last year! Sure I liked Sin City but she was the weakest actor in it.

Ug... I just get so sick of these "next big thing" actresses being thrown in our faces each year. If she really was the next big thing, wouldn't have "Into The Blue" made more than like, what, 3 dollars?

OK just for fun let's guess who the "Young Hot Next Big Thing Actress They'll Shove in Our Face" for 2006 will be. My guesses (in order)

1) Mischa Barton
2) Emma Rossum
3) Evan Rachel Wood

One of them will be for sure! I'd also say Eva Longoria or Evangiline Lilly but they're too old to be the "next young big thing" I think the cut-off is 23.

This isn't exactly what you were talking about, but I've noticed Dakota Fanning is in lots of movies recently. It seems any time they need a small girl in a movie, they use her.

Anyways, yes I'm sick of Jessica Alba. She's really not that great of an actor, and its just irritating that people will put her in movies/go to the movie just because she's hot.

I haven't seen any of her movies yet. As far as I know there are only three that she is in, Into The Blue, Fantastic four, and Sin City. I can see how "Into The Blue" depended entirely on her hotness to sell tickets (I'm guesssing it's crud movie with a hot chick in it, since I haven't seen it). But so what. Lot's of movies do that. She dosn't bother me at all...yet.

Well its not like she's come out of no where. I think its that she gotten a lot more roles as a result of Fantastiv Four (she had to bleach her hair). I dont think 4 movies in one year are too many, reason being they hold the movies over to release them and chances are they though doing a "Summber of Jessica Alba" would be a great ticket seller.

Of the three I've only seen Sin City. Yeah here character wasnt really that great. I think she fits the part of something like Dark Angel only because she's had more experiance with it. But unless she does other things she'll be stuck as a one character type and those actors/actresses dont last long.

Its funny that jude law was in 6 (count'em, 6) movies last year, and every single one flopped. Ha ha loser!
