PSOne screen mA useage

Does anyone know the milli-amp useage that the PSOne screen takes WITHOUT doing the LED mod? Because this is my first portable attempt and im reluctant to try it.

I've seen conflicting reports. Some say it's 1000 mAh, others 750 mAh.

Nowhere in the first post of the screen faq does it say how much it takes.

Could somebody kindly put the (verified) modded/unmodded mAh requirements in there? That would be great, thanks.

on full brightness unmodded it's around 900. modded with 3 LEDs it takes 310-350 ma. 6 LEDs takes around 500ma.
