If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.
i need help, i have a portable tv screen but i dont no anything about wiring and conecting it, i am making a portable gamecube it should work with a mini tv screen right? help!
well, for one thing, if it's your first time even opening these things, maybe you should start with something smaller. Second, you don't need an adapter, you need to solder cables from the a/v out on the gamecube to the a/v in on the screen. Although, if you just want to use it with the gcn the way it is, you can plug the GCN's a/v cable into the a/v in on your screen.
A portable gamecube? Unless you are quite talented you may want to stick with something more feasible like a SNES or maybe a nes-on a chip. AFAIK only two people have made a portable gamecube and both agree it was pretty tough.
I can't stand large avatars and since you evidently don't know how or just haven't bothered yet to resize it, here's a smaller version, just change the avatar link in your profile to this:
don't discourage someone from doing something challenging just because it's their 1st, challenging stuff is good to start with because it just is and you learn more from that than from easy stuff. i'm starting with N64 (harder than lots of other stuff) and i don't regret it, i've learned more from that than i would from SNES or NOAC or any of those easy things
