Ok here's what I have in mind and would like some input.
PS2Portable- 5" Zenith LCD w/ LED mod, old PS2 (NO DVD drive) w/ 60GB laptop HDD on USB/HDD board w/ USB switchbox (1 ext. USB conn.), mod chip (not sure which one, help?), USB Advance, 7 pin s-vid port for ext. A/V conn. to tv, AC adapter port, batt. pack, internal 16Mb MC for elf's, 1 ext. MC port, no LAN adapter. I think that covers it. I know the slim would be a better option but picked up an old PS2 w/ dead DVD for $20. I did have a slim but that got merged w/ my old Apple Studio monitor and a 160GB HDD. The s-vid port will have a term. switch in it so when I plug in a cable the int. screen turns off.
I only backup games I own so the legal issue isn't a concern for the mod chip.
