I'm looking into putting my ps2 in my PC and play it from there. Reasons? No reasons really, just looks like a fun project to do on the side of my sega portable and snes portable.
Here is my question: what is the power requirements for the ps2? If it's 12 volts, then I should be okay splicing the power cable and connecting it to a molex and from there to the pc? Also, the video, I would like to run it off the computer monitor as well. Does anyone know of any guides or diagrams around on how to hook up the ps2 av cables to a video card?
I would look it up, but at the present moment, I have a party with my family and I don't have the time to check into it. If no one finds anything by the time the party is finished, I'll start looking myself and share what I find. Just wanted to see if anyone can help me right now. THanks in advance!!!

I read around here and throughout the WWW, and from what I found, I read the following:
Voltage requirements are 8.5v and for the video, just connect it to a video card with an rca input and I should be good to go. Anyone have any objections to me connecting the ps2 to a molex on the pc?
Also, anyone know of a cable that'll let me connect a hdd to the ps2 WITHOUT the network adapter? I don't need the power, b/c it'll be powered by another molex.
Oh, so that you know, I am using a 600W power supply with 9 molex connections.
Please help anyone???

I feel real dumb...I completely forgot about vga converters. I am bidding on one right now:

As for the power, I'll look into that. What I am going to do is get an extra power supply that's lying around at my job and use that to test things out just so I don't destroy anything else of mine. Thanks peeps!!! =)
