i waz just wondering, with all the opinions on mod-chips, i thought id make a thread for the topic...

MOD CHIPS, LEGAL OR NOT

Overall, I think a mod chip is LEGAL however, it's what you do with it that makes it illegal or not. If you modify your system for your own software that you made and wanna test, then yeah, perfectly legal.

hell ya modded PS1(although now busted pos

), had about 25-30 burned games, all rentals that were ripped, and then burned. But now I like to own the originals of games(except GBA, i have flash cart, but usually used for puzzle games, and other short quirky titles).
