Day of the tentacle
Hey, did any of you guys play Day of the tentacle? That game rocked. I still have my disk and just figured out (thanks to a friend) how to play it with sound on windows xp. Now i have to get a hold of Sam and Max. Does anyone know where I could get it? Thanks
-Tim
P.S. Day of the Tentacle was my first pc game ever. It ran on Windows 3.1

Yeah I remember having that game. I dowloaded Sam 'n Max with a piece of software that aloud it to run under XP no problem, course I couldn't save it.
I have to say games like Day of the Tenticle, Sam 'n Max and Full Throttle(sp) were the best Lucus Arts ever put out.

Monkey Island that was a good one too. I thougt the idea of where you picked insults to win a fight was the coolest.
I just thought of one other, Willie Beamish. I'd really like to play that. Only thing is when we had it for the PC you couldnt get past the chef to get your frog as the CPU ran the game too fast.

You know what's amazing? My friend and I actually have just recently had a discussion about this very same thing. I too am looking for a copy of Sam and Max. I have DOTT and Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, but never Sam and Max. I've always wanted to play that.... And SCUMM works pretty well, btw.

I have Sam & Max, Day of the Tentacle, and Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, all on CD, for the Mac. Great games, I hear they've finally resurrected the Sam & Max sequel, which I'm now looking forward to immensely.
