How to use LaTeX

could anyone tell me where to get a copie of LaTeX and is there a how to somewhere I'd like to make some skrips

skrips? scripts? you don't need latex for scripts, use any text editor.

If your taking scripts for Windows... Dont know try a torrent site.

If your talking about Linux/BSD/Mac OS X (no Launchd) then yes use something like eMacs or vi. Then just make them executible by the shell you use.

even windows can jsut use a text editor to make .bat files and run them from the prompt.

sorry I'm a student in germany and the proffesors put textfiles online like pdf's and that's what I meant saying skripts Wikipedia was helpful thanks
