quake 4!

The new quake engine looks awsome. It looks like a bumped up doom 3 that isn't dark as hell (not that there is anything wrong with a dark scary game). I went to map a level in doom and a well lit room costed over 30 frames, knocking me down to less than 20

.

I can't wait for other games to start using that engine as well.

but the question is will anyother game company besides id software and raven people be able to use it because id software created it and quake 4 and doom 3 are just remakes of old id software games.

Well quake is for the most part is. There is graphicly no comparision of Doom 3 to the past versions.

Anyway its been known that making a sequal to a great game is a good way to keep production cost down and be sure the game will sell desently.

one remake i hope comes out "blood" one of my favorite games ever!!!
