i thought of this when looking at the micro if some where to make a small gameboy that plays music i think it be pretty cool especially if they find a way that its not to hard.

just thought maybee some one might like the idea its probley been said before i just havent seen it

o and if some one made one (dout it ,but still)

the gameboy will play music anyway.
I use mine for this all the time.

You have to convert your Mp3's (I picked .GBS files)--but they don't really sound any worse at all, depending on the quality and player you choose. Headphones or external hookups are also a must, that GBA speaker isn't the best.

additionally GBAs will handle legacy music formats like Midis, mod/it/s3m, and NSF.

what do u use to get it on the gameboy
the flash memory card thing ?

I use an SD card adapter.

my gig is more than enough to store tons of stuff.

all the GBA movie players will do mp3 as well, but they tend to be bulky--except for that japanese whatcha-macallit...

under $60 shipped, plus the cost of whatever SD card.
it does far more than music and movies...if you get what I mean *ahem*
you know, with the homebrew and the 'less than homebrew'

yeah mine GBOM2 was suposed to be that kind of way but i never got around to buying a new SP screen. also i forgot uptill now i have a DScompact flash cart project in a box some wares.. i sould do that.
