Is this about Google wanting to buy yahoo? I've heard talk about it on twit and diggnation. Also I'd say Google is really doing what Microsoft has for the past oh 10 years, getting into all areas their customers use.

I dont know if Google's intentions are evil like Microsoft's but they sure are on one big campain.

no, it just makes wi fi use safer, encrypting the wi fi so you information is not read as easily.

The speculation is is that they're going to cover major cities in the US with free WiFi.

I'm pretty sure it's an SSL-VPN client allowing for a secure, relatively un-hackable wireless connection. My dad works for a computer security company (Firewalls, VPNs, etc) and they recently came out with a similar product. Fun stuff, just ways to build a better hacker (or find other flaws).

like thats a bad thing lol, seeing aol/msn/pretty much everyone out of the picture would be a damn GOOD thing lol, not to say google sould had a monoply gust get the crap overcharging one gone
