Howto Podcast

I'm listining to TWiT (This Week in Tech) and Kevin Rose mentioned that the new Systm thats to come out soon that thats what the topic.

If some of us could find a way to get together (via phone, Skype, ect.) we could make a pilot and see if its worth making a string of them. This could help us on some of the areas of the community. Get people introduced to the idea and have it all there so that its not like read 3 different topics about rules, stickies and searching for past posts before posting a new one.

What do you think?

You know, that would be kinda fun, now that you mention it. It might be a little hard to get started, but once we're past that it would be fairly easy IMO. If you need me for help, I'm in

TWiT is awesome. Security now is cool too. And I heard in a twit or engadget podcast that google talk is better than skype. (Im guessing because there's not as much load on the servers or something.) As for doing a podcast, if some of us could get somethign going Id be willing to join in.

yeah, i think they said it had better sound quality or something. but skype has group chat, so GT is out of the question

So its been avalible for a few days now. Who's checked it out and found it interesting to say the least.

I'd see about doing this and making a pilot to see if you guys want to try. However I dont have a very good mic (need to find the good one) and as always my tower that has the Audiology lacks the driver. If I can get those working I'll get everything set up, and try out a 5 to 10 minute pilot.

Also if you guys wanted to get into this, what would be a good way to get voice into it. Skype seems to being moving to ebay soon, and does the new google talk still not support chat?
