but, just think, with a little psp programming, you could actally make it run off the cp slot, leading to the eventual cf slot mod, then it will bring down the cost of memory sticks becuase no one will buy them! I mean look at those microdrives for cf, there like 4 gb!

I doubt the conversion crap costs 15 dollars, with the CF-USB thing and the cord required, looks like you need some batteries. I think it'd be easier to go with the MSPD, which just goes into the PSP, rather than all this junk flip-flopping around, falling out, etc.

I've got a bunch of CF cards I use with my camera. (Unfortunately they're only 192 MB each)

Now if someone could figure out how to make the PSP work with one of those external laptop hard drive enclosures...

And no, a 4GB Microdrive does not cost 43920432billion dollars- only $151 (and then 25 less if you do the stupid mail-in-rebate thing). 6GB Microdrive is now also available for just $238. Furthermore, a 1GB CF card is only 51 dollars. Funny how skewing the facts can turn people away from the truth and towards your favor

EDIT: Then again, you could buy this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820228036 and then rip out the mircodrive. So you're left with a 4GB microdrive and a handy CF-to-USB adapter, all for just 101 dollars.

you see? this technology is very useful, all we need to do is get someone to program for the psp, as soon as they make a downgrader, or hack 2.0
