Wow that would make building a portable easy as you dont have to be conserned about the screen taking up space, just have lip with the connectors it slids into on the front.

That sucks though that it will be a while tills its commercialized. Maybe DivX could use those for its new media player!

P.S. If you want to know about the DivX player look on digg.com.

in fact, requires no power whatsoever to display the last image before power is cut (and if anyone can tell us why that’s supposed to be really useful, by all means).
items that don't change much but stay on for long periods of time:
picture frames
crossword puzzles
books
clocks
electric windowshades
color-changing sunglasses
one kicking halloween mask!
automobile vinyl graphics...ummm rice...
the super t-shirt...says what you want, but don't put it through the dryer.
joke 'privacy screen' for computer monitors that displays mature farm sites by remote control.
implanted just below the skin could give you an animated tattoo
two words: transparent pants. "pardon me while I switch off my pants"
refridgerator magnets that say "eat at joes" and morph into 'kill your loved ones' every once in a blue moon just to drive you mad.

the possibilities are endless for those with money.
Right now, I really want something to happen to one of my eyes, just so I can 'mod' my glass eye with one of these flexible LCD monitors... Is this irrational? I guess the next generation of batteries might make LCD contact lenses possible...but I want it NOW.
