What I have shown you is reality. What you remember, that is the illusion.

wow, Jeff owend you. I think you should kill yourself now...
HDC, taking something apart and putting it in an uglier case isnt hacking it what so ever. Thats like saying you hacked a flashlight into a tic-tac case...
Also, if your whatever is broken, and it hurts to do something, thats god telling you that you are doing someting dumb, and you should stop doing it. Does posting here hurt by any chance?

Guys, how come every time Hotdog posts, it turns into a flaming session? aside from the fact that it's fun, easy, and he's being a pain in the *donkey*
Here's what I suggest:
@ hotdogger: Shut up, heal, and make a real mod, not an LED in an Altoids case, and learn how to handle your tools properly before you amputate something.
@everybody else: Just ignore him. Give him the cold shoulder. I understand you're all at your wits end here, I am to. Quite frankly I'm plain sick of hearing about "AWW cruid Iu impailed my soddering iorn intko my brane", but I'm not yelling. Just grit your teeth and bear it.
@ The mini-mods: Should someone split and lockify this topic (again
)? Or just outright lock it?

Ok, ok. But as for the smooth thing there is a product out there called laqure that is used to make a smooth coating over the wood, it also protects it.Lucretius wrote:Although the wooden cases are cool looking, the vaccum form cases are nicer to hold (speaking egronomically). *As hippy* Besides wood is nature, man. We need to get away from all the cold artificial stuff and get back to nature. Nature's warm and comforting, man.

I don't know, wouldn't holding a system coated in polyurethane get kind of uncomfortable after a while? (There's no texture to it, so your sweat would stay there and you'd get that "clammy" feel... yuck)
Well for my case it looks like I'm going to have to make the 1/2" plastic pieces out of plywood, but the 1/8" parts will be plastic. I'll probably put either laquer, shellac, or Zar on the sides. Maybe I'll stain them with Minwax Early American... I don't know. If I did it would match my furniture and the trim and baseboards... Hmm...

Very true, and the laqure could keep out the nasty sweat juices our bodies pees out of our hands whilst we are locked in fierce battles with cars, snakes, and floating logs!

even if my ARM is broke....I still use it.. :p and i used my other hand a lot
No offense, but definitely is not the right way to go. I understand what you mean, but, you think that's bad, try working with mentally disabled children. My younger brother has a bad case of ADD (but I still love him dearly) and he can be as you might say...annoying at times.Just ignore him. Give him the cold shoulder
What I would suggest, is to help him by giving him ideas of things to do instead of critisizing (probably spelt wrong) his ideas.
