Attention Sonic Fans!

For those of you who haven't heard, Sega has decided to replace the voice actors in the Sonic games with 4Kids' Sonic X voice actors. This is horrible news! The voices in the games were so awesome, and the 4Kids ones were terrible. Somebody on Sega's forum started a petition to bring back the original voice actors. If you care about this, please go and sign it. Yeah, I know these things rarely work. But it's our only chance, and it doesn't hurt to try. Here is the petition:

What I can't understand is..why must "4kids" ruin every show it touches!?! It's a bloody show-killer! There's a VGCats comic about that somewhere...

while the voices aren't the best(okay there bad), at least this will hopefully keep them consistant. Its at this time that I am reminded of Sonic Adventure for DC where tails' voice was switched half way through the game. I mean wtf were you trying to pull SEGA!?!?!?

Uhh...The Sonic Adventure voice actors sucked. I've never seen the 4kids Sonic show, but I assume the voices have to be better than Adventure.

IMO, the Sonic Adventure voices are some of the coolest sounding voices ever. Especially Sonic, Eggman, and Shadow. And trust me, the 4Kids voices are terrible.

As for consistency, Sonic X will only be around for another year or two, so it really doesn't make sense to change the voices now. The show's storyline doesn't really go along with the games anyway. If they wanted the voices to match, they should've brought the games' actors into the cartoon- not vice-versa.
Stuff like this really annoys me. Why can't those people have some logic?
