gamecube controller

alright i need a complete guide to spliting the gamecube controller

ive tryed avioding doing this and its im possaible to make a good portable without spliting the controller.

just scrpa off all the whit crap on the traces next to the button and solder it to another half of a controllor to the same spot you got it from

im not to good at giving instructions but just go for it its not that hard

What I did is take the controller case, split it in half, then buy another controller and use both in conjunction, buy soldering the connections from ones buttons to the others main chip, then tying the power and grounds together.

heh weird how the GC controller board is that pale minty green color, when most of the other systems controller boards are a solid green.

that green stuff is just like a coating, you just gotta scrape it off in some places, under that its the solid green

Well, I think that might be the best advice. If you're not that good at working with electronics, maybe you should start with an expendable system, like, oh, say an NES, Atari, SNES, Atari, Atari (I like Atari, can't you tell?).

and do u think anyone would sell me a split gc controller
i really have the rest of the portable all set ,even the case i just need a split controller.

I think it would be easier to split the controller the other way, just desolder the analog stick and the linear pot (for the L button) and cut off the D-Pad. Then just rewire them back to the board, easy as pie!

so squee u basiclly wired the cord wire together (power and gounds)
and then wired some thing to the man chip

umm do u think u could give pics of more details??
