benheck.com Google SiteSearch

Post by bicostp »

<a href="http://bicostp.portablesofdoom.org/main/ben_search.htm" >Click here for the Improved Google SiteSearch page for benheck.com! </a>

It gives more complete and relevant results than the phpbb forum search, and it searches both the forum and the main site! :D It's a great tool for newbies and seasoned portablizers alike!

Thank you.

Any other minimods (and/or admins) may un-stickify this. I just wanted this to be front-and-center for newbies and people who hate the PHPbb search system. :)

Oh and thanks to Triton for bringing up the idea.

www.gannon.tk/~hk47/files/search/benhecksearch.zip
Heres a firefox search extension I made for the forums.
Just export the contents of the directory (benheckforum.src and benheckforum.gif) to C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins\
Have fun... :)

I just put this in the announcements thread. I'll begin the destickification process after this message.
