with two power sources it would be easier to build and with one it may be a little more difficult i actually do recall someone saying they got about an hour and a half of play time off two sources
im not to sure but the only reason two sources doesnt last as long is because the 3 volt line runs dry faster than the 7.2 volt line so maybe if you just wired two sets of 3 batteries in a parrelel circuit it would make the life longer
Sorry to bring this up, but its just a thing I noticed...
On my N64 board (says NUS CPU 03) the power lines are actually labeled. It says 3.3V and 12V on it. There is also a regulator on it, 12V in and 5V out.
It also says Vterm on it and Vref. What are those? And can I bypass this regluator with +5v? I cannot test it, the N64 is busted. (then I beat it up and took parts off.)
yeah, you can bypass it but if you do, make sure you don't give it too much voltage because it'll be unregulated. i'll have to include that in the how-2, thanks for reminding me. I have no idea what Vterm and Vref are
