NESH, a nes in a helmet! (sorta)

After getting a Famiclone and a tv-glasses thing, i started on my nes-in-a-helmet. So far the helmet works with the TV, and i have a battery pak coming down the side. i also have earbuds coming out, which work well. The famiclone only currently uses its 100 in 1 built in games, but i'm going to add a cart slot soon. The controller hasn't been wired, so it doesn't work anyway. The pic is in my sig.

thats an awesome idea(especially with the NOAC taking up such little space). Are you going have the battery pack, go in your pocket(or an arm strap) or have it attached to the helmet

Yah, i got it to fit (eventually). The battery pak contains the power switch, batteries, a video in port, and a video imput switcher (1 is NOAC, 2 is whatever's plugged into the video in port). It's external, mostly because the original battery pak was. I had to cut holes for the video in port, but it works. I'm thinking of just having a controller plug from an original NES on the side of the battery pak instead of a hard-wired one. The NOAC is not in the helmet, it's not even hooked up yet. It will probably go in between the battery pak and the screen. I might even give it it's own batteries built in with a charger (if i can figure out how to do it) otherwise, the power comes from the battery pak.
EDIT: the screen is malfunctioning. It won't accept input, and it will not run NOAC (input 1) mode either. the wiring might be a problem, but then how can i turn it on? w/e. I'm going to go try and fix it. Probably a battery issue.

try and get your hands on a virtual boy controller with battery pack. Nintendo used the same logic controller chip for NE, SNES and VB. You can hae a nice comfy controller, with a battery pack! You can even tey to get your hands on another batt pack or the AC Adapter pack so you can actually have an AC adapter option... If anything, try to make something like the VB Controller.

You could put a the whole NESp system in the controller, cart slot and all, then runt it to the helmet, that way you can use thehelmet for other stuff.

Bad ass... a Virual NESp...

Where'd u get the display, and how much was it!? Whats the quality on the display?

umm, well the display WAS going to be a pair of those tv glasses things, but i didn't have to make my own helm, so i scrapped that. right now, there is no screen (i think i ran to much power to the old one, but anyways, i fried it). I'm not sure what screen i'll use, but it'll probably be a different setup then the battery pak i had. I'll look for the Virtual Boy controller thing, thanks for the tip Foxx373.
Edit: anyone have any idea where i can get one (VB controller)?
