spyware from heck

a few weeks ago some spyware and adware got on my computer, At first I thought no big deal I'll just use Ad-aware. didnt work, so I saw if nortan could kill it didnt work. Did some google searches and used spybot. STILL didnt work. what are some adware and spyware removers that work.

edit: or am I screwed I really dont want to reformat my computer

Download "Hijack This!", it lists all running processes and deletes them if you tell it to. But DON'T delete anything yet!

Run Hijack This, and save the log file. Then copy and pasts the log file onto http://forums.thatcomputerguy.us , they'll tell you what to do.

Re-Formatting may be a bit drastic, but after the spyware is gone I recommend you make a set of backup CDs (or DVDs) with a disk image of your hard drive on it, just in case.

MEH, i use Housecall, gets rid of: adware, Spyware, Trojans, Viruses,

You don't need a spyware killer, you need a POP-UP BLOCKER...duh...

I keep on getting popups from jamba.nl! This started when I got the Exploit.Mht-Redir virus (and it's removed!). Anyone know what causes that?
