how do I make itunes convert my songs into mp3 format?

i forgot how do to it, but i think it might be edit>preferences>advanced>import and theres a menu to decide which format you wanto import into

are you sure its import I want to export my songs to my psp but iTunes isn't the right format

yeah, you choose it on the import part, then right click on the songs you want and choose "convert to MP3" The problem is, you will have duplicates on your library

Ok, iTunes doen't let you convert store bought songs to MP3.

any converters that copnvert the whole song and doesn't give me the first 2 mins

Buy a CD-RW, burn the protected music, then rip them from it. The protection is then removed.
