thats funny. Mine was like that, till i opened it and made the springy things tighter. It's harder to put in and take out carts, but most work.
Shhh! I'm not officially back yet.

Poor ethan is never gonna get over that sickness... Poor dude :(

I've found that it's not the blowing, but the positioning of the cart that makes it work. If you just slide it around it will eventually work.

I thoroughly cleaned all my carts and bent all the pins back into position on my NES, but it shows a jumbled screen. Time to tinker with it again.

 Ctrl+Alt+Del says it all. :P

If Lucas has a NES, shouldn't he have a Genesis or something? :/

Blowing on the cart does nothing good for it. Cleaning the contacts with alcohol helps, but if your contacts are a little on the loose side you just have to wiggle it around a bit.

One time, when I bought Harvestmoon 64 from Gamecrazy, the games underside was all grimey, contacts were dirty, and the all inside was like... wet  ... with .... grime! It was so nasty. It was probably a mix of soda, dirt, dust, grease, who knows what.. but I wanted that game, so I asked the dude workin there if he had anything to clean it with, and before I could finish asking he said "nope", so I'm like..... :? ..... I'll take it! :D ... 3 seconds later he blows on it  ... I'm like... omg, thats sick.

Went through like 5 q-tips and alchohol getting it all cleaned up .

…unless they happen to be your dusty GameBoy carts that have been sitting there for a year, then you need to clean off the dust.

Same with me, but with a keyboard instead of a controller, and Firefox instead of SMB.

And my keyboard usually stays plugged in. :P

For future reference, usually it is best to leave old threads along. Seeing as you just joined, please remember that these type of actions can get you in deep yogurt with the mods.
