Help psone screen

Help I got another psone screen didn't even open the case and I pluged it in with a 18v 3.5 amp plaug and it showed black and white then nothing then I found my original psone screen plug and tried it and it doesn't work.

cause you fried it probly with that 18 volt plug

psone screens dont have any thing to bump the voltag to 8 volts so im guessing its fried

It's made to run off 7.5V what were you thinking?

Lucky for you there is a fuse on the screen you can bypass, look it up.

All well guess I'll have to send it back to ebgames to trade

And I thought it could take 32v or something but then I remembered the 7805 can but the screen it has to run through some other stuff first...

Well I told my mom that it was "broken" and she won't let me take it apart now.

Tell her it was just faking. Just bypassing a fuse would definitely save you money, so make her listen to reason.

Bring it someplace secretive (the basement, lock your bedroom door, the Batcave...) open it up (making sure you don't damage the case AT ALL), and jump the fuse. Then smuggle it back to your room and tell her it works again.

(Just say the wall wart died or something.

)
