AHH PAGER MADNESS!!!

How do you make a pager stop beeping, my dad's work pager has been beeping one beap like every 5 mins there's some buttons on it theres a grey one with an arow facing up, a transparent red/orage one
and a swich on the right side, that has a speaker at the top, a speaker crossed out, and an o

HELP ME TURN IT OFF PLEASE!

put the switch in the "speaker crossed out" position....

god, im old enough to remember how to use pagers...

smashing it isnt the best idea just take the batteries out and put back in. If that doesnt work then....SMASH THE THING FLAT!!!

you would be suprised how many people still use pagers today! Every once and a whle ill hook my radio scanner into my computer and tune into a pager frequency and start decoding... its really amazing to see how many pages go by in just a few minutes.

I hate cell phones (too $$$ and annoying), but there are times I have to be on call with work. right now I just stay home.
