Yes, Apple is full of morons because they do what everyone else does- tr to make money.

U2 was popular. People bought the iPod. Harry Potter is popular. People will buy the iPod.

Hey, I just bought a laserdisc player! :D

Of course it might have had something to do with all of the manga I see in junk shops for 100 yen (under a buck) per movie.

I hope the nano is a replacement for the mini. Why have two ipods that have 4GB hard drives? Really its the same thing as the Mini and thats the same as the GBM, a stupid novelty. Really as far as the ipod goes the shuffle is the only one I'd get.

The ipod is kind of over kill, 20, 40 or 60GB. I know there are some people out there that might have GBs of mp3s but honestly thats a lot of empty room. I could only image making it into a very good looking exteral drive.

Two things: 1) the Nano IS a replacement for the mini, but the mini came in 6GB and the Nano does not. 2) 20 GB or more is not overkill. 4 GB and under are too little, and having extra space makes it easy to use your iPod as a portable hard drive (which I do). I've had my 20 GB packed to the gills before (about 18.6 GB) and it was the best thing ever for toting Photoshop documents to and from school. Also, the "extra" space on the larger 'Pods makes it easy to install Mac OS X and show those suckers at school that Macs aren't anywhere near as lame as they thought.

I must say, though...that iPod nano looks beautiful :D.....I mean, sure it doesn't have much space, but if I had the extra money and didn't already have an iPod (sort of...) I'd get it :)
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

The nano isn't too fragile. I read on Gizmodo that a man dropped his nano from 3 feet high repeatedly and it still worked perfectly good.

I use over 15 GB on my iPod (20 GB, 3G [the best]) for Mac OS X and I have enough songs to fill the a whole nano and then some (since a nano is either 500 or 1,000 songs). I guess a tiny thing like that could be good, but a) the controls are too small, are you going to carry around a needle to push the buttons? And b) it has neither a screen nor shuffling, how are you going to choose songs? Another thing about the nano: it has other features besides music, notably photo viewing, games, and a lock so no one can just steal your iPod and use it.
