i do think the micro is pretty damn cool but i wouldnt pay 100$ for it, if i was goping to spend any ammoung on a handheld i would preorder the GP2x (shipping oct of this year for pre order) with an estimated retail of slightly under 200$ us (eat that sony) and almost all of the functionality of the psp with NO need to hack to run emulators and all that stuff we love, it has an imbedded linuz based OS a 3 or 4" lcd of high quality, 2 arm9 prossessors (one main one gfx processor) and lots of othr neat stuff its well woth the money

No, the companies take no liability for the actions of their clients. They aren't responsible for what people do with them.

Why do you think the company behind Kaaza hasn't been sued by the film or music industry for making software that lets people easily share movies and music? Because they explicitly sayin their EULA that they won't be held responsible for what people do with their software.

I wouldn't say that miscommunication, premature hardware splurges, poor advertising, misguided games, and multiple remakes consitutes as only "one lousy marketing technique".

I STILL say the Famicom face plate looks great.

I can't see why there would be doubt about durability. This is NINTENDO, guys. They're all about durability (and gameplay), expesially with handhelds.

the DS doesn't feel durable to me. It feels hollow and milk-juggy with uncomfortable buttons. (IMO)
It's the system that makes me nervous about nintendo's handheld trends.
(I tried so hard to like it, even with money to purchase it in hand)

The DS is durable, less than GBAs because of the fairly weak binding holding the top screen, but otherwise it's fine. The buttons are kinda awkward as well, but that has nothing to do with durability.

The DS is not as durable as the GBA, top screens are broken a lot.

sorry, but he spespifically said that it was LESS durable because of the top screen. and yeah, thats correct, my friend's top screen had to be duck taped in place.
