The Gobbler

Post by benheck »

I drove to Milwaukee and back yesterday and pointed out an abandoned restraurant in Johnson Creek to a friend. "Have me show you the website about that when we get back" I said. I'd read about it years ago but felt it was time to tell others about... the Gobbler!

And that's the website. Yes, History Channel could have an "Architectural Disasters" show and this'd be the headliner. Read through the whole thing if you have a spare half hour or so, it's one of the funniest things I've ever come across. Enjoy!

Excellent! A Giant mutant turkey building is always good! Man, it's like all the old fads you hated put into one place. Shag carpet everywhere, velvet, ghastly colors, plastic chairs, 8-track players, etc.
Thanks for sharing the horror ben, it was great fun.
