star wars battlefront mouse problem

ive just got battlefront which im highly enjoying, but theres an incridiably annoying bug which is bothering me.

for some rerason when navigating the menu, the mouse continually moves to the top left of the screen. in game theres no problem.

ive looked at the official help, and it says to update my mouse drivers. i did so, already knowing they were fairly up to date. but there was no diffrence.

i also cant find any solutions via google.

anyone know how to fix this problem?
